Would be nice if it were all a trap by the FBI to ensnare these cretins before they try jethro-ing their way to any government building. If the National Guard and counter-protesters aren’t involved, who will distract these cretins from their violence?

Who would feel bad for her at this point? She’s taking attention away from other victims and keeps falling further and further down a cliff every time she opens her mouth. Now she blames Democrats for her hurting her. Oh great, another one of these whine-ass mouth breathers coming for us.

No tears for deniers but fuck the mom who killed her own kid by not getting vaccinated.

The only meal plan Bud and Kelly get at Trumaine College is the dumpster and they’ve gotten used to the taste of bleach.

“Manual transmissions are better than automatics!”

Here’s a good myth that’s become less true with the constant evolution of automatics. Hell, my 2014 Subaru Legacy can be driven as a manual using paddles on the steering wheel. I have not tried it though.

For some of us, it’s how we learned to drive. My father always

The 2009 Civic I had would have an alert that would come on when oil life reached the negative digits. It didn’t hurt my car but I also didn’t let it go too long either before changing.

My dad used to think that anything over 70k miles was in need of replacement. Again, a product of a time when cars did not last as long as they do today.

Boy, my dad seems to tick off a lot of boxes on automobile falsehoods. I tried telling him that people are keeping their cars longer today (as opposed to 20-30 years ago) and as a result, the mileage will usually be over 100k (because of where we live..mostly rural) and the car WILL have rust no matter what. He’s

Another car myth my father insisted upon, especially in the winter. Well, it might make a little sense if the temps are in the negatives but you can just drive the damn thing and it will warm up.

I had a cousin that was unbelted, thrown clear from his car and suffered a broken neck. He survived but he has a habit of surviving freak accidents and I feel like he pushed his luck a little too much.

Their argument is one that I hear commonly from older folks. Surprisingly, a lot of those oldsters are too cheap to spring for anything beyond liability insurance.

Pretty sure that’s why collision insurance exists.

I’ve seen old archival videos of car and truck accidents from the 1950s. We’re talking actual graphic footage of charred corpses behind the wheel. Maybe that’s why I’m biased against anything pre-1970s for vehicles.

You could make a betting game out of the number of out of state plates that end up off the roads where I live during the winter. Not saying that the locals don’t also have this issue.

This is why I only change my oil following the manual and not what others tell me. My father tried to drill the “every 3000 miles” thing into my head but I know better. It’s just a waste of money to do it that often and all it does is keep service bays full.

Here’s a myth I’ve heard:

“If you have 4WD, you don’t need

If it’s a small hospital, that’s a big number.

Alabama elected a grandmother and now look at them!

I just call those morons traitors since they’re up here in Union country.

A lot of those folks have forgotten about vaccination records when they were kids.

That’s why local papers are irrelevant. Some of the crap they publish should probably remain unpublished.
