Where I used to work, MMR was mandatory and they would hound you about it until you got it done.

There should be ZERO health care openings that don’t require vaccination. That’s what’s wrong with America now. Too much catering to children that will not do the right thing. The gloves have come off.
That’s the thing. People who smoke think they deserve extra time to engage in a destructive habit during work hours. As I previously noted, I worked at a hospital and it was not uncommon for people to spend up to a half hour outside smoking while their work fell behind.
I worked as a night custodian at a hospital for almost 10 years. It was awful. The nurses were always cranky and always giving us shit for trying to do our jobs, especially when it came to floor maintenance. I get their concerns about patients being able to sleep but faking an allergy to the floor chemicals EVERY TIME…
I got friends in Quebec that got vaccinated and hated the lockdown that they had there. Not sure if it’s still that bad but Trudeau, et al got some real balls criticizing the U.S when their tactics go further than ours.
They should not be working in the medical field, period. There are people who get jobs in the medical field not out of the goodness of their heart or a desire to help others, but rather the (high) pay and benefits.
Here’s the thing about vaccine mandates: I had to deal with them growing up in the 1980s! Almost everyone my age or a little older has a “vaccination record” which was required to be up-to-date or one could not attend school (unless they had an exception).
What’s the big deal there? There’s an entire generation or two…
As I get older, I get more liberal because I’m convinced everything around me is bullshit or fraudulent. I refuse to support the GOP or any GOP candidate. That entire party is FULL OF SHIT. I have much darker opinions of the kind of fate the 1/6ers and their enablers should face but I will not share those.
I don’t know about that. McGowan is a transphobe and I’m sure she’d make a stink about Caitlyn Jenner if she thought people would pay attention.
Ironic how they use the hashtag “no to homophobia” and yet, openly partake in transphobia. I don’t understand it at all.
Oh god. This woman and her quest to get as much attention on her as possible at the expense of other victims.
I think it’s kind of unfair to assume that everyone who lives in a manufactured home, is white and a Trump supporter. There ARE people like that in my town but as someone who cannot afford a “real” home, a manufactured home may be the only way to go.
They live at home because they can’t afford to rent anything because they don’t have jobs? That’s my niece’s case at least.
Then why comment?
Campbell’s Chunky Chicken Noodle soup. It’s the only soup I eat, sadly. Other soups make me think they’re gross or unappetizing. I add seasoning and reduce the broth (to avoid overflowing bowls) to spice up the flavor.
Wish I could get the last 20 years of my life back. 9/11 fucked up everything. I have no regret for the contempt I’ve shown the GOP since they put Shrub in the WH and everything unfolded.
Fry the son of a bitch. I no longer care about racists as long as they die.
He’s still a coward for refusing to support the For the People Act and the expanded infrastructure package that Democrats want to pass. Two critical pieces that could secure Democratic votes in 2022 AND 2024 and Manchin just doesn’t fucking get it. What a moron. Convicting Trump twice isn’t enough.
I’m tempted to not vote at all from now on. Or stick to statewide races.
Biden winning and Warnock/Ossoff winning was a MAJOR relief and now that relief has turned into cynicism.
Manchin and Sinema are the achilles heel of the current Democrat party. I think it’s over. Might as well watch as the GQP takes the House next year and (hopefully not) the WH in 2024.
