Well Emily Nussbaum is willing to fight people who said they hated it….that's something.
Me too! And tbh it doesn't look like an unfun part for an actor. And it's an excellent, but not really restrained, performance.
Yeah that one is really solid.
It was both too long and too short for me. (Too much Zuckerman, not enough Merry) Plus the ending was abrupt. Not the most satisfying reading experience.
Maybe that'll be explored in the next movie?
I can't really find any faults with the lightsaber fights.
Yeah that was him. It's a little hard to listen to that song now.
I was intrigued by them at first and I'm glad they got that "Collateral Murder" video out there, but yeah, I still think if you want to leak something and you want people hear you, going through an honest journalist (preferably from a newspaper) is still the best way to go. They know what to with the info. If this…
Are you referring the very very necessary alt-right speech or the deplorable thing?
Satirical essays, maybe?
Yeah I was hoping that this movie was going to be more about Moore returning to his Rodger and Me roots. I don't know if he blew all his capital with them, but he used to have a real gift for talking to Middle America without talking down to them.
Oh I forgot about that one! So messed up but so funny. Found it, if you're interested: https://youtu.be/FwNf-3VHRhE
His part in Rodger and Me where he talks about his breakdown is just gutting.

Oh my God! We're in the alternate universe from Time Chasers! It's all coming together!
And they at least have a sense of humor.
Second half of Fahrenheit 9/11 is pretty damn good too.
Oh My God! The woman who played Parker Posey's sister is the stewardess who says "You have a good day!" in Almost Famous. One of the funniest one line delivery in cinema history. (And yes, she hilarious on P&R too.) Just had to share that.
