Willard's characters always seemed to be cases of punching up because he always played a smug prick. He really needed to be taken down a peg. Especially in Guffman. He treated his wife like shit.
Yeah. A lot of stuff like that. It was awful. Then they showed it to him.
Yep. And the names of people who were arrested for having gay sex. In Turkey. So yeah. FUCK WIKILEAKS. I'm done with them.
They did something close to that in that John Oliver piece and it broke my heart.
So many French words that Brits deliberately pronounce wrong. Who else pronounces the T in valet?
But if he just owned up to having allergies or something after the first debate (a reasonable explanation, and one that I, even as a Trump hater, would have accepted) this wouldn't be a thing. But no, he has to be perfect. So now people think he's a cokehead.
He also wrote an editorial. He reeeaally went to bat for the guy. http://www.independent.co.u…

Stevens is Pepe's superego.
I think they thought that kids would be so disinterested in it they didn't feel the need to elaborate. That might be doing a deservice to the few kids who might enjoy it. "Themes of excessive and unnecessary romantic/sexual repression. Also Nazis." might be more accurate. That description would also include…
Ugh. That's awful.
I don't know why this makes me so angry, on top of everything else (especially since I know how he got there) but ACID-WASHING TWEETS?!?!? Does he know how ridiculous that sounds?
Fun fact: on my DVD copy this movie is rated PG for "themes." Does not elaborate.
I just saw Lawrence of Arabia last year knowing very little about it except it was a BIG! EPIC! David Lean movie and DAMN! Let's just say O'Toole's subtlety and brilliance in that performance has not been lost or undermined at all. At least to my eyes.
IT COULD HAVE! That's what gets me. But Stevens is Stevens, so no.
Christopher Reeve really brought his A game to that movie.
Yeah. At least his ego isn't SO big that it doesn't allow him to share the screen with others, and his career is better for it.
Mallory needs to write a bio of Rand, pronto.
Fair point.
