I hope next they do an Aaron Sorkinesque movie about the 24 hours or so when Obama crushed Trump at the Correspondents Dinner and ordered and oversaw the Bin Laden raid. I seriously think that would be a great movie.

*fist bump* *freeze-frame*

The stuff she wrote about sexuality and Moby-Dick' isn't bad. Anything she has to say about something from this century or the last is mostly likely wrong.

Damn. I thought I liked the Jesuits. I still don't see why Catholics can't sing public domain stuff like "Nearer My God to Thee" and "Closer Walk with Thee" and some of that 'Oh Brother Where Art Thou' stuff. Hell, maybe "There is a Fountain", horrifying lyrics and all (the melody is so pretty). Yeah, they

Could you not call her a "specimen" please?

Agreed.

Protestants get the best songs, hands down.

*Sigh*….we don't love it. It's just the best of a very small and crappy catalog. We can't use secular music in mass. Even "Amazing Grace" is pushing it. (PS I'm converting.)

There was also a future episode where Principal Skinner mentions Iraq War 5: Bring Back the President's Head (or something like that). It's a pretty gutsy (if wince-inducing) joke that has only gotten more prescient over the years.

"Lotion people."

It's incredible how relatively calm and eloquent the reporter is, despite all that is going on.

I haven't. That one shocked me. I was ready to put all my money on Fates and Furies even though it didn't deserve it.

Tampa Bay Times does some damn good Scientology coverage as well. It's a good paper.

It looks like the 'Good Lord Bird' movie is stalled. It would have effectively dodged the "white savior" issue though. It's not that favorable. At least the book isn't.
