Slippi doesn’t even enter into it really, US copyright law is pretty clear that hosting a tournament or streaming a game is a public performance which is an exclusive right of the copyright holder. Nintendo can legally shut down any public tournament of any game they hold the rights to.

That actually IS how it works. Failing to enforce a copyright can lead to negative judgments against the holder down the road. If a copyright violator can prove that you haven’t enforced it previously then your claim against them is subject to dismissal.

Really weird to paint Nintendo negatively for, ya know, protecting their copyright and IP. They told the organizers to not use an emulator, mods, and pirated copies of the game. The organizers said no. The organizers decided to cancel the event instead of continuing with just Ultimate.

Well at least it was an ‘absurd’ reason instead of a ‘tournament players bad-touching minors’ reason that competitive Smash is known for.

This is one of those shady key reselling sites so price will fluctuate and you’ll likely get a notification from your credit card company asking what the purchase is if it goes through. The post itself is a copypasta of previous posts - it mentions a code but there’s no code this time. I’ve also seen them post cdkeys

No matter how many copies are sold a bunch of people will be laid off the second the game is ready to ship.

Considering the Navy navigates vast oceans and rough seas, you’d think they’d be better at handling streams.

Is this actually licensed? There’s no license or copyright information anywhere that you would find with an official first party or a 3rd party licensed product and their twitter page is equally barren. First blush tells me this is a scam.

Old Steam? Yeah, this probably wouldn’t have been allowed.
But Steam’s current hands off “Allow everything unless it’s illegal or trolling” policy means this is safe, as long as Steam is actually following its own guidelines.

“I don’t want politics in my games” just means “I want politics in my games to go unexamined”. And Kotick would certainly like that very much, especially considering the kind of politics his games are peddling.

Already knew this was going to be here:

He’s just playing the character of an inflammatory asshole with a mullet, when in fact he is an inflammatory asshole wearing a mullet wig.

I hope that clears everything up.

WAHHHHHHHH MY BEDTIME STORY WAS NOT TO MY LIKING WAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

WAHHHHHH I COULD WRITE A BETTER ONE

I WON’T

BUT HEAR ME OUT: I COULD

Ah, it’s debatable on how many f-bombs and the context they can use as the MPAA is never consistent at all.
I’ve seen movies with 3 to 4 f-bombs and still get a PG-13.

I looked on IMDB for other movies and some other people said there:
Million Dollar Baby - 4 F-bombs (theatrical, not unrated)
Non-Stop - 3 to 5 (Couldn’t

So, in your book, a pedophile who sexually assaulted his 7 year old daughter isn’t Weinstein, Louis CK or Anthony Weiner bad?

“I was really on board with the headline, when I thought you meant that she had a minor negative impact on my own experience of a video game. But then I discovered that what you meant was that she has actively made it more dangerous for trans people—a population already vastly more in danger of being attacked or

Yeah, I’d definitely rather focus on the fact that she shared, like, a thing implying that grieving parents’ pain was false then the fact that she’s not the best voice actor.

Between this giving random company your DNA just to claim minuscule amounts of Blackness stuff and that whole letting delivery people into your house with a swipe card thing it does make you wonder if there’s something in the bottled water or avocado supplies...
