Actually it happens a lot when you have games with both PVE and PVP. Some developers tune things to where PVP is king so all changes and tuning are strictly because of the PVP requirements, and other developers apply a PVE buff/nerf that remixes things when it’s time for PVE action.

Race/chase missions in games that are not racing games are the bane of my gamer existence. So many playthroughs of mine come to a screeching halt when one of those come up. I don’t have the patience, I don’t find them rewarding, and usually the in game controls are ill-suited for such a thing.
