this doesnt actually seem that far-fetched to me... i think it could be functionally accomplished with 12 iphones strapped to your head. they are already made for the purpose of networked communications, can already map, could use alternating images from each set of 6 phones for stereoscopic 360° vision, and the

"Go ahead, science—throw your best synthetic miracle fabric at down, and watch it shiver."

@QLAB: fair enough, but you misinterpreted me as well- i was never talking about protesting.

@David Hildreth: you know which governments and companies have changed their policies towards wikileaks? none. if the purpose of the attacks was to be a bunch of attention whores, though, then yeah, very effective.

@QLAB: ddosing major credit corporations is more like rioting than protesting. the kids doing it are doing it out of ignorance of whats really at stake, and whats really been done by assange. i dont think this country or europe are perfect, of course, but we are not so imperfect that rioting is going to solve any

triple post.

@Avastmateys: well, 10% of arizonas landmass is a very deceptive number. you think "10% of just one state? that doesnt seem like too much..." but, in reality, that 10% is many times the surface area of every roof in the country combined. the expense of putting up that many solar panels would financially ruin the

@QLAB: youth fighting the establishment for erroneous reasons are stupid. i understand the youth in iran fighting the establishment, but the fighting youth in america and europe are just spoiled children with no clue how good theyve got it.

@daveinmn: considering the humble nature of that trailer... your suggestion might be a bit over budget, haha.

@David Hildreth: considering that hundreds of millions of people were inconvenienced by these attacks, i guarantee that some people were unluckily damaged by the timing of it. for instance, if a person had to make a payment as soon as they got their paycheck, or face a late fee which would put them over the limit,

@QLAB: better to see kids be so ignorant and consequently gullible that they think theyre saving the world by committing criminal attacks in support of a criminal? yep, sounds like a big improvement to me!

@David Hildreth: ....uhhhhh-huh. so you think it was totally cool to deny hundreds of millions of people access to control over their credit cards since it was just for a few hours? thats really stupid.

"...it begs to wonder why more theaters don't lay solar panels on their gigantic roofs."

@QLAB: yeah, but theyll be onto some new stupid cause. it takes a certain amount of blissful ignorance to behave this way, and with that ignorance comes a pretty short memory.

@zeroprime: because those ddos attacks are done by pros, haha.

@oops_jo: i browse 4chan all the time, and i hate this type of behavior, too. in fact, i think they should track down and punish as many as possible, and my opinion isnt abnormal even on 4chan. trust me, the kids doing this are a tiny minority.

@Kwinten: if they didnt organize on 4chan, they would just organize somewhere else. the problem isnt 4chan, the problem is ignorant youngsters (thanks to biased news and schools).

@QLAB: i think youre forgetting that teenagers grow out of that phase, haha.
