Good call.

Karmann Ghia looks like a winner.

First, I agree on the E-class Coupe being the sweet spot. That’s a beautiful car.

I’m in St. Louis and there just isn’t the independent presence here or a Classic service center. We have the dealer and GLB (which does have fair prices).

Jay Leno said something similar.

That’s nuts. There is a lot of money on the table for dealers in the Porsche classic market. I’m lucky I live a hour and half from Isringhausen and a day trip from Napleton Westmont.

The Porsche Classic program is really cool—both the partnership with dealers and the work to determine which old parts should be produced.

I was going to ask if this was a Jack Raby engine, but then I looked at his prices for the 912E and holy shit—$20k for a Type 4!

I need a flow chart!

But isn’t the Model X like $120k?

And with Porsche leaving IMSA, the future looks bright for the M4.

Gosh, I love this story.

This is the only way I can afford a longhood.

Yup—The Boxster is a Miata with a flat six in the right place. Great value.

I would like a Porsche 550 Spyder.

I came here to say Lancia and am glad you beat me to it

That means your choices are to start laundering money for the Russians or looking at something older and perhaps less universally praised for its styling and/or performance.

Yep. There are lots of cars that will appreciate, like the Carrera GT, Enzo, or 918 Spyder. It’s just getting into that class takes a huge amount of capital.

ANY car?
