I still doubt Porsche classics will make it work for mag case 2.7s and 914s
Except Tesla’s profits as a small “manufacturer” (quotes are for the debatable noun) are from carbon credits bought by other car manufacturersÂ
Wait, so FCA (or whatever it’s called) won’t have to pay millions of dollars to Tesla for carbon credits anymore?
Great review, Andrew. I will probably hold out a little bit to save up enough to get 911 longhood.Â
The problem with that theory is that the individual parts of a 912Â are worth $100k. The cost of vintage parts will drive the market.
Basically that, except the 912 does not have a dry sump oil pump either.
Beautiful car.
Nice price based on the exterior color and it’s a manual, coupe. Miles don’t matter if this is a weekend car. I would get the pistons scoped for bore scoring, switch the IMS bearing, and drive the hell out of this.
I definitely agree about the front fascia and headlights being better on the Audi.
I heard this story on the Overcrest podcast. I’m wondering who had it first.
Interesting topic.
Three thoughts.
Idiot or not, people need to warm up their cars if they live anywhere north of interstate 40. And if you live north of 80, consider an engine block heater.
That’s a great looking car, Rob. I especially love the Turbo-twists on it.
I’ve thought a lot about buying a 912 and fitting in a Jake Raby engine to drive it. It seems like a fun option for lightweight speed.
That Porsche-tax is steep
Sad. I’m a fan of the 912E.
