Pretty sure it’s just G for Gas and D for Diesel?

There are a few other current or recently retired models with similar door closing cringe effect:

Japan: Mazda Roadster

Crash structures have evolved significantly since the 1990s and even the early 2000s.

This is bad, not because the car is significantly more dangerous than any of its competitors, but because consumers rely on psychological reassurance when buying this class of car. Did their simulations and internal testing not catch this or something?

The overall reliability is roughly the same if you include the drivers, especially those who attend car meets.

Beautiful coupe.

Thanks for sharing this; I had no idea my 3.0SC was this much of a hack job.

Used F-type and Cayman/Boxster seem to be on similar levels of upkeep.

Ugh, sorry about your friend.  I despise street racing--it doesn’t prove any skill.

Corvettes are just on the edge of affordability for the average mortal, so even new-ish ones are definitely within the reach of an idiot making bad financial decisions (in this case, two idiots).

The Sport Leicht, not “leicht” since the 1950s.

I’m pretty sure renting out a portion of a Chinese national park and working with normal Chinese people (who do things, get paid, eat and pay bills) are pretty tame and did not result in the imprisonment or torture of anybody.

For those who are wondering where exactly this mountain is, it’s a popular tourist attraction located in the Zhangjiajie national park area in Hunan Province. I’m not sure how they got it to look so empty as my friends who have been there say it’s always packed.

Hong Kong is in active collapse due to its own *fears* (note that does not mean anything actually happened! Actually, the whole fiasco was triggered by a murder case). But they’re used to blaming others for their own inability to govern themselves—take it from a guy who has witnessed all the various protests since

FWIW, the Supra looks much more striking in person than it does in photos. It’s low, short and wide with bulging hips that few cars can match. I’d give it a street presence level similar to that of a Porsche 718.

I don’t see how driving on a road in a country, or even making a promotional video in that country means you automatically agree with 100% of that country’s policies.

Yeah I kind of butchered my wording, I really meant joining the “sporty handling SUV” party.  The original ML55 was pretty badass.

It’s the same conclusion as the performance variants of the Macan, Cayenne and Stelvio. MB is just late to the depreciation party.

These things are all worthless after 5 years so MB and the financiers are laughing all the way to the bank. Also, depreciation fodder will probably retreat badly from the product lines by the next financial collapse.
