Can’t the Stelvio be re-jiggered to look like this? I mean, the basic proportions are the same. New powertrains, a hot new look, aggressive pricing...?

Even if this only sells 1 unit, it’s better that a rich person buys a car made from recycled materials over a car made from sharks, dolphins and mink.
TL;DR: Buying cars too often is a waste of money.
I think there’s an element of DGAF when owning a Maserati. You have to not care about the hit/miss reliability, the needy repairs (I’d hesitate to call it “maintenance”), the special but not particularly sporty or fast driving experience, the lack of a more prestigious Ferrari badge, the QP’s somewhat disappointing…
According to Wikipedia, the Quattroporte was Maserati’s first 4-door saloon, introduced in 1963. I guess they had only produced two-door coupés before then, and that’s why the car was named as such.
The same goes for all the public figures in the US running their mouths about Hong Kong. They do NOT know what the protesters/rioters are on about and assume it’s “fighting for democracy” or “freedom from China” or something like that. Yet they feel qualified to take a position and propagate a false narrative.
Yes, and the proposal was shelved in June and officially withdrawn yesterday. No sign of the riots/protests abating, because the goalposts have been moved since then.
Sorry if my earlier post wasn’t clear. Yes, I specifically meant chaos in eSports leagues, gaming tournaments, etc.
4 months of unrest and no deaths to this day attributed to violence. That statistic is telling of the level of “brutality” being authorised. From just a few days of protests, I’m already seeing police in Catalonia treat people worse than they do in Hong Kong.
There’s a reason why most international leagues and platforms disallow it. If you disagree, feel free to start your own gaming platform and allow unfettered expression by the worldwide competitors and teams, and we’ll all find out when the league gets swallowed by political strife.
Sorry, Hong Konger here...what takeover are you speaking of?
IMO this is a slippery slope. Let’s forget that what’s going on in HK is not a human rights issue per se (more like a political fiasco related to a failed legislation that spiralled into civil unrest), and take a place in the Sinosphere with actual human rights problems. Xinjiang, Tibet, the South China Sea, the…
Agreed. If you’ve been on the ground in HK recently, the issue isn’t actually a problem with freedom of speech or anything like that. So the wording adopted by this Tian guy is sort of strange.
It’s great that this guy has the freedom to state his political views. But as a part-time resident of Hong Kong, I think I need to be educated on what “freedom of speech” issue in Hong Kong he is talking about.
You know it’s bad news when Ted Cruz visits Hong Kong “to get a pulse of the protests.”
I’m glad that Blitzchung and Blizzard are learning their lessons and working to reconcile. I hope Blizzard can handle future moral/political conflicts with more tact. Where business meets politics is always a messy place and Blizzard obviously is beholden to the interests of a country whose values and priorities…
You still need a Bible reference.
In Hong Kong this gets you beat to within an inch of your life. That’s how crazy the student rioters are. My friends and family are now afraid to say anything critical of the riots now. "Freedom fighters," that's right!
Blizzard didn’t have to do this. All they had to do is deny involvement in and pomotion of the riots, which are running amok in Hong Kong with little consequence from the police. A separation must be made between peaceful protest (allowed) and violent riots (not allowed). A quick search on YouTube will show you the…
Also, as a Hong Konger, the misrepresentation of Hong Kong’s mess as a “China problem” boils my blood.
