Yeah, looks like I mis-read it from what others are claiming.  Doesn’t really belong on a Vette anyway.

Being a hardcore version, what’s up with the total lack of weight reduction compared to a regular Evora?

Yeah, the swastika sends its regards from its hijacked hell. Before the Nazis butchered it, it was (and still is) an important Hindi (and subsequently Chinese) symbol of spirituality.

You’re being too analytical; those guys aren’t on your level of intellectual honesty.

Those aren’t necessarily boomer memes, I see the occasional obese, shaved and/or massively bearded, insecure millennials rolling coal with those trucks in California.

No idea, which one are you thinking of?

If I misread, then you could’ve called that out. Sorry you can’t rise above name-calling.

That’s cool, most supercar owners didn’t ask for your opinion when buying them for their own pleasure.  They usually won’t be asking you why you don’t have a McLaren, either.  I don’t think there is a problem here.  Whatever problem you have with someone’s expensive car ends at your lips (more likely, your keyboard).

A 570S is nearly a decade newer than a 458 Italia, so there’s that too.

I love their cars, but this is an excellent opportunity for another IGer to do the complete opposite just to troll Ferrari-the-company.

This brought me back to when my commuter car was in for the Takata airbag recall or something like that, and I had to use my old Ferrari for a few days to get to work.

They even have AUTOMATIC, wow, such option, very luxury

Yeah, so for that you get the loaded luxury version. It looks like the article has since been updated to specify “Manual folding mirrors,” but these power functions are not really commonplace even on everyday cars. Power-adjusting steering column is usually only on flagship luxury cars, now beginning to filter down to

It looks ugly to me, but the law is the law, and if Italian owners are not complaining enough, then there isn’t really a problem here.

I dunno, but what I do know is that I’m on my 3rd mid-engine sports car and this is the first time I’ve ever been seriously interested in a Vette. To me, on any sort of fun mountain road, 150-200 lbs. is where you really start to feel the difference.

If...IF...people complained enough to the point of the manufacturer potentially losing sales, then they will do something.

To each his/her own, but putting a plate on the sky-facing bodywork, even the smaller front Italian plates, is really jarring to my eyes. It almost makes me want to just fab a bracket (an owner of a LaFerrari surely wouldn’t mind the cost of that) to have it properly facing forward, right at the bottom right or left

“Dude, you almost had me.”

It’s nice to be able to load up your Vette if you’re a near-retired empty nester, under 6' tall and want this as a daily driver.

Looks like the article’s wording was changed after my comment (or I misread), but thanks for the personal attack.
