This is really my philosophy too, do you want a nonzero chance at a sale in the future, or a zero chance?

I am a serious buyer during the test drive. Whether I am still a serious buyer after the test drive is anyone’s guess.

Meh it’s a Corvette, it’s not going to ruin your relationships with family and friends due to people not being able to find the door handle. These are rarely used to carry passengers on a daily basis.

How different is SMC from fibreglass?  A quick glean of Wikipedia shows that they both use glass fibres.

They quickly gloss over very questionable assertions as “facts.” That is how and why they grip their audience so hard.

Nobody should hate the Corvette as a car.  It has always presented an astounding performance value.

I’m not fully on board with the looks, but what an astounding value for a mid-engine near-supercar. The Porsche Cayman just got put on notice.

Big infotainment screens are great in normal cars but that is just way out of place in such a focused sports car.

These are still all over California.  So I guess they all went to California.

We all deserve V10s and V12s around Spa.

This specimen is more likely of the “bitter, marginalised and can’t keep up with the current population of his area, some of which are not white” crowd.

I think this should be corrected to, “Nothing more American than buying a car while you’re still underwater on your old one.” Generally, financing a car purchase is the norm in most developed countries worldwide.

That’s a recursive acronym.

“Look, even a crass, immature liar with the problem solving skills of ‘neener neener’ and a world view that ends at the Mar-a-Lago fence, can be the President! That’s my idea of “winning” and I’m going to ride the wave for as long as I can because that’s the only calibre of human I can relate to. Anyone who disagrees

USDM minivans are way too large and long for the average family. Granted, that doesn’t stop people from buying them to throw junk into and forget about it.

That’s probably what people want, though. Also, rental spec probably has a less interesting interior than what the press guys get (top trim, loaded).  The cars that people actually buy for themselves usually land somewhere in the middle.

This. It’s not the ride height that gets people hooked on CUVs. It’s the seat height and sometimes the roof height.

That is revolting.

Yeah, that was the biggest surprise to me.
