Yeah, I wanted to point this out too, but this kind of stuff is really at the Benz S-class or Rolls Royce level, not an Acura TLX. I would think a mainstream car just needs an interior and exterior once-over by human eyes, without much real manual labour required.

At the top end of the luxury car market, it’s important to have manual labour. Leather cannot be relied on to stretch consistently, especially expensive leather. An expensive finished-metal fitting may not be suitable for a robo-shove into a delicate stitched leather binnacle without scuffing or bending something.

When you spend that much on a car, they (or you) can probably figure out a solution. Maybe there’s a tripod that mounts on an unpainted body surface somewhere, or even on the ground, to hold the fuelling hose and keep it from touching the body.
