Hey, the last one is a kid, at least.

Yay, politics in my nice non-political nature video!

I wasn't referring to selling at a loss. I know it has been done in the industry for some time. But the last generation of consoles weren't sold at $299 in the beginning. Only the stripped-down version of the 360 was that low.

$299? Yeah, right.

Turn down the brightness?

I really like the new display, but I can get the standard MBP with a 1680x1050 display and throw a 256 GB SSD from Amazon into the optical bay for about $300 less.

I think it could count as either. Renegade could add a sucker punch or knee to the stomach as a follow-up.

I really want that display, but a lack of user-replacable parts means extreme future-proofing and obligatory AppleCare. No thanks.

You're right, a ~17-18% speed difference is totally negligible when it comes to CPU-bound professional programs. A 2.3 GHz i7 will compress 1080p video just as quickly as a 2.7 GHz one.

Numbers for 2011 MBP should be 1440 x 900 or 1680 x 1050. #corrections

Never heard either of these Chicago-based haunt stories.

Yup.

Don't forget the cost of hardware and upgrades: $9.99/mo for a digital converter, an extra $4.99/mo for HD, and another $4.99/mo for DVR features.

Apple only sold the polycarbonate MacBook until they sold out their remaining stock. I think that's all gone now. They have a $999 13" Air that they sell as an educational model now. It's the same spec as the base 11" with a bigger screen.

I am not normally a Superman fan, but I absolutely loved Red Son. I don't think I've ever seen the man of steel so complexly written. Good intentions, insecurities... It's the first time I found him interesting.

That's not even funny.

Wow, that's the bleakest animated gif ever.

A semi-valid point, but as a rule you don't find a lot of level-headed people in front of a reality-tv camera.

I passed on this tip after getting hit by the scam. The fake is playable, but it is more or less the same as the legit version, but minus Game Center support and a few extra options.
