"Next time let a conservative come up with the war story, they are way better at that and might even get your game made for you. "

gundaman, you're a dimwitted, shallow, myopic fool. You're an idiot. A jackass. You're stupid. Dull-witted. Your wordview is warped. Your concept of common decency and respect is as malformed as a circus freak.

When I am at home? Of course I'll play Skyrim. When I am waiting for my car to get fixed, or grabbing lunch on my own, I don't have a PS3 or 360 with me. iPads are portable and relatively powerful. More than that, they have a nice big screen and are more functional than a PSP or 3DS — they're probably the last two

No one would spend $500 on a console. You're right.

When I saw the teaser for this movie, I was excited. Then I saw the trailer, and heard some dude talk about collecting items.

This is why I don't game with a headset. I don't really fall into many minorities beyond religion (raised Jewish, now pretty much atheistic), but I was barraged by gay-bashing. I'm not gay, but that doesn't mean I don't find the behavior abhorrent.

I left AT&T for T-Mobile in 2004. At the time, AT&T was already charging ridiculous amounts for data — GPRS (not even Edge!) was $15 or $20 for 100 MB. Unlimited data was $60. T-Mobile was $10 for unlimited data at the time. I unlocked my Nokia 3650 and never looked back.

This is great news for people who like bad things.

"ARE YOU GUYS READY TO SEE SOME MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT THIS EVENING?"

If he had said something about the drop in audio quality, I might have given his opinion credence for a moment. Let's face facts: the move to MP3/AAC was a drop in audio quality. Of course, the music industry had a chance to push to higher-quality audio when DVD first dropped, and they messed it up by throwing out at

Honestly, every time I see something like that, I think of this.

I love how people who spent 8+ years studying(or at least focusing on) one thing apparently know everything about everything.

This is smart but impractical. If you leave the drill in your trunk, the battery will die. Unless you remember to regularly take it out, charge it, and put it back, this isn't a good long-term solution.

I'm typically not a fan of "common sense" groups, as they are usually holier-than-thou-groups, but any ad that says "Your parents will hate it!" is aimed at kids.

Are you kidding me? I haven't earned any vacation days at my new job, this as close to a break as I'm gonna get for some time.

@tobylane: By your logic, car thieves drive Lamborghini sales.

This argument is stupid. Of course buying used games isn't worse than stealing. Is buying a used car worse than stealing? A used book or DVD?

@Andrew Ball: "640k should be enough for anybody!" all over again.

A number of people are complaining that iTunes doesn't use industry-standard files.
