@Slidaulth: Your argument makes no sense. Obviously, anyone who doesn't look when turning will hit whatever hypothetical is in the crosswalk. If your argument is that car drivers don't watch where they are going — ever — might I further generalize that cyclists don't ever look behind them to see how much slow traffic

Did Motorola hire Peter Molyneux to do their marketing?

Great, I drive a Saturn. It won't stick to my car.

@ChicagoDog: $500 for a book is criminal, even if possible royalties are involved. Particularly if one's name doesn't appear on the cover.

@Norbs: Sites already pay to pass their traffic. Netflix pays Level 3 to shuffle their data to Comcast. Comcast collects the data their customers request, and pass it along.

@madisondj: Great, and 25% of the country can just give up broadband, since Comcast could be their only choice. Then Netflix can lose customers, too!

Been playing on the PS3 since launch. I got the game to freeze before leaving Goodsprings. My two biggest gripes are:

@loosethoughts: Yes, that's right. In 2001, six years before the iPhone, Bungie would have been forced to make iApps.

It's the sport of the future!

With the exception of file management, my iPad has been surprisingly useful. iTap VNC lets me remote control the servers on my network, and it's far easier to walk around the office with a 1.5 lb tablet than a 4-5 laptop.

@BtownDesignGuy: Yeah, but I'd wager that Zelda: A Link to the Past has been pirated more than ANYTHING released in the past few years. Not all piracy is mod chips and burned DVD-Rs.

Was all that slogging through the bog early on necessary? There is nothing less fun than moving like a snail over salt.

@Andrew Pollack: So if he's not getting help from one municipality, why not send out another one? Do other municipalities get paid when they show up to a neighboring area's fire?

@Andrew Pollack: "You have NO idea how many people it takes. 20-50 for a fully involved structure fire is about right. "

@Andrew Pollack: Why on earth is he paying the salary of 20-50 people? How many firefighters showed up? And why all day?

@Vanilla-Terror: I mean streaming the whole thing, like OnLive. Audio, video, etc.
