@Alex Meswarb: Because it's upgrade time, and I could sell the unlocked N1. Also, yes, I meant 2.1, not 2.2.

@theenemysgateisdown: "If you think that equates to a meaningful measurement of intelligence, then by all means pack your thesaurus next time you go out to the bars/clubs."
@FriedPeeps: ...
I was totally considering a Vibrant when it came time to renew in October, until I learned it had no flash and was still at 2.2.
@Antenna of Doom!: By just providing really shitty service and trying to block tethering and YouTube?
@Modano: Except that's not it's name. It's the Samsung Fascinate, and this post is a Lightning Review(quick and to the point).
@psychobaka: But the money from trades often goes toward new games, which means more new purchases.
@sabrage: No, what I'm saying is that what you want isn't going to happen. Digital Distribution is as much about price control as it is about content control.
@psychobaka: "Do not underestimate mankind's greed!"
@RutgerHauer: The HSPA+ seems to be the only real difference. That tech that hasn't even rolled out across the country yet. So the only real upgrade is of nebulous value.
@vermillionlynx: Where do you get XBLA games besides Microsoft? Virtual Console titles outside the Wii?
@Mac McCollough: The book argument is nonsense. Go to a used book store and see how many bindings are falling apart. Unless the book was poorly made to begin with, this isn't an issue. I have books on my shelf that are more than a century old, and they're doing relatively fine. A hardcover book can last a long, long…
@Mac McCollough: Actually, GameStop (or another retailer) is getting the money regardless. Best Buy doesn't send UbiSoft a check at the end of the month for every title sold.
@Kajun78: ...you do know that sales happen with physical media, too, right?
Great, I can't wait for all the 20+ GB downloads. And the getting nothing for shit games.
@DrForbidden: They already tackled #6: you can't. Not for long, anyway.
@The_Cuttlefish_of_Cthulhu: I don't think there is dense enough NAND memory yet, either. I think the 64GB touch uses 2 32 GB chips, while the iPhone only has room for one, which limits it to 32 GB.
So... it's a Nexus One with a keyboard. That's underwhelming.
@The_Cuttlefish_of_Cthulhu: Exactly what I would have said. Until the iPhone has 128GB of storage, I'll keep using my Classic.
@Justin: Exactly this.
