@nfollin: "They put together the design, yes, they chose what they wanted, yes. But I would go so far to say it was all them, or that they really are what causes the hardware for the phone. I'm not saying anyone does either."

@nfollin: Technically, Apple doesn't make ANY of the hardware. It's all made in China by various third parties under contract.

Aaaand... the accessories are already going for inflated prices on eBay and Amazon! I was planning on picking up a home and car dock when I got this news, just in case... but I guess I'm screwed now.

@D0rk: Sounds about right.

@D.LYTE: Yes. They're called "Titles."

@Abaddon: Alludes to it? I think Book 2 or 3 OPENS with it.

@Pat Chan: Neither. The analogy was to opinions, not actual brands.

@Mark Wilson: Cheap? I think the word you're looking for is "stubborn."

"You can't just latch onto something when it's popular and then squeeze the life out of it and then move on to the next one."

@gargravarr: Death: The High Cost of Living is one of my favorite stories ever. Gaiman's Death is possibly the most likable character in all of comics.

How was the stability? I have a 1TB FreeAgent from a year or two ago, and it freezes at least once a week. This is annoying when you start getting errors from your backup software.

...but have the requirements changed?

@rentahero1: Yes, but if I want 3G I'd have to replace my Nexus One, no matter what.
