I’m a car dealer, and the “dealerships make more on parts and service” stuff is very misleading.

Meanwhile, crossovers are still languishing north of 10 seconds in many cases.
Him and Saric were almost indistinguishable, while Embiid was on another level by himself. People need to stop voting according to what team a player is on. These are individual awards. The MVP doesn’t have to be on a championship caliber team, the ROY shouldn’t get a leg up because he’s on a better team. He’s…
It may be hard to believe, but most mechanical engineers designing your cars have no clue how to fix them.
To me there are two types of engineers:
Yes, it’s all true. I’m not a big fan of the phrase “you’re an engineer, you figure it out”. Hands on learning is a problem at many universities (mine in Canada was a polytechnic institute way back and they’ve drifted from that vision).
Speaking as someone who works in auto parts manufacturing in the US, automation is indeed the name of the game. We have a subsidiary plant in Mexico. What they do with 7-10 people, we do with 2-3 because our facility is far more automated.
This. I’d call myself a Ford Fanboy, but anything outside the performance lineup and the mustang is fucking horrible. If I was looking for an “ordinary” car, I’d go honda or mazda.
I think some of that has to do with the price of entry to the “fun” segment of the market. Aside from the BRZ/FRS, Mustang, Challenger, and Camaro... all the fun stuff starts at over $40,000. That’s a lof of coin for someone who just got their first job and is still saddled with college debt to spend on a depreciating…

Most people here are. They hate Ram because -> trucks, they hate Jeep because ->not a brown wagon, they hate on the charger and challenger because -> RWD cars with big engines are stupid. The same people who will tell you to go buy and 8 year old BMW from Carmax with a warranty for $35,000 will say that a new $35,000…
stupid, or just “human”? Evolution made people shortsighted in order to survive today and tomorrow without having to waste energy thinking about next year. Long term planning was not a necessary skill when you are only planning to survive the winter.
Going slow in the passing lane ? Shitty driver.
When you’re coming up on someone on the highway, and they’re too afraid to use cruise control, and instead of being steady with their foot, their speed fluctuates between 65-85, and I’m forced to pass you 6 times because every time I pass you, you speed up top 85 and then pass me and then slow down to 65, or I’m stuck…
1st Gear - Basic economics. When people talk about adjusting something to “make life better for the Average American”, they often leave everything else static. You hear it all the time. “We’ll raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour!” But what they don’t add is that when the sellers realize that the buyers have more…
uh huh uh huh...interesting, interesting...and all I can think about the 2017 Ford GT is...
Corners? Where were going, we don’t need corners.
Because
Wait, you really think a few morons spinning out at cars and coffee events are affecting the sales ?
