Sita pt.3 *sigh*

I called it early too but I got greedy bc of the free tickets so I went to watch it anyway and IT SUCKED and I should’ve known goddamnit

It was TORTUROUS

i confused Sarita Choudhary with her for so long too because I kept thinking she directed Mississippi Masala and Mira Nair acted in it when it’s actually the opposite

also i just found out MIRA NAIR is doing a movie with LUPITA NYONG’O and i am going to spontaneously combust from the happiness.

I went to a screening of By The Sea with a friend who had free tickets and I STILL regretted it. It was so pretentious and so hilariously overacted. The French are actually good at the whole bourgie ennui and terrible marriages and the “European palette” thing.

Maybe they have the potential to be powerful, but if you had bothered to read carefully, my distaste is reserved to the terrible execution of both these plots.

Jenny Slate did that bit in Obvious Child, I think

“inb4...” comments are SO annoying

Same here. I watch her show, and I went to her old stand up show a couple of years back and I watched Trainwreck. IMO her sketches are really superior to both her stand up and the movie. They’re hilarious, dark and biting.

I loved Janet’s new album. I worship her. I tried getting concert tickets but all sold out :((

i’m all out of fucks to give about sad ballads after having Sam Smith’s music shoved down my throat for the past year. Adele’s sad ballads will obviously be superior so I get your point.

Usually those threads are outnumbered by posts like yours. Always more posts about “can’t wait for those comments to roll in” than the actual comments about those jokes.

We’re probably going to get another set of Sad Piano Ballads About Heartbreak

Rihanna’s completely unimpressed face and Zayn Malik’s laughing head shake make this gif one of the most perfect gifs of all time

“are you sure”

and most people who seem to shame mothers are other mothers who feel the need to show the internet that they are the Superior Mothers with Superior Parenting Skills who are Doing Everything Right For Their Wee Litle Special Snowflake

amen. Motherhood in the internet age seems like an endless nightmare feedback loop of shaming, self righteousness and self hatred

Rumours was a goddamned perfect album. And I totally agree, people are always to trying to make women out as these emotionally needy, catty creatures when you know....people are emotionally needy, catty creatures. And musicians, even more so.

Oh god, she still claimed she didn’t “name names” because the song is called Dear John and not Dear John Mayer. Even the same guitar chords as a different John Mayer song.

Uh, you don’t seem to grasp the concept of a breakup album. They include a varied range of emotions and angles, from “parting shots” to regrets, to pleas. Gwen did it way before Taylor. She did way better than Taylor. She doesn’t “need to take lessons” from her. That’s not how it works.
