Whaaaaaaaat??? Nooooooo God fucking dammit

Istarted the Les Mis series... it is heavy going. As it should be, because the book is hardly a laff riot! But yeah. One episode at a time is good enough for me!! Loved War and Peace though.

It really was. My boss is first generation Australian (born to Greek immigrants) and he thought it was brill.

Overall I’ve had a pretty good week! My workplace is still running with reduced patrons, and the government hasn’t given us any real indication of when things can change again, but that’s OK! I’ve managed almost 2 full days of work this week, which has been incredible considering I’ve barely been able to hang the

Darling heart, unload away - that's what we're here for! I wish I could be of some help to you.

Oh yummmmmmmm I fricken LOVE fresh raspberries.

One school holidays, we were out in the boat at the islands. Did my usual sunscreen before swimming and playing, and everything is grand. Mam calls us out of the water for lunch, then reminds me to ‘screen up again before going back in the water. Y’all. The sunscreen reacted somehow, and BOILED the skin on my

Up and down a bit at the mo... had 2 really good days - felt great, got loads accomplished at work and at home, then Wednesday night got a headache that kicked me right off course. Spent the bulk of yesterday medicating and napping, and still don’t feel great. And of course the doc has no clue. Feh. Just have to learn

Ahhhh, I’m with you now. Sorry, bit doughy at the mo! 😂

My dad made my glory box, same as he did for my sisters, and its one of my most treasured possessions. We country mice are very different to the city mice! I know my cousins on the sunny coast were debs but I don’t know if it still happens there. In my hometown in North qld, the only event more important is the Show.

This is really interesting. In Australia, the debutante ball was a huge thing, but over the last 30 years it’s more relegated to country towns (in my experience). The city kids don’t do it much unless they attend one of the “blue blood” private schools. It’s the social event of the year in just about every small town -

I just got out of the shower and it feels so good. All the hot water and nice products!!!

Dad dices up l left over corned beef, some spring onions and tinned corn (drained). A splash of beer, usually whatever he is drinking at the time, after its all mixed together adds an extra lightness to the batter. Shallow fry until golden brown. Even better the next day!!

My girl Mollie won't leave me alone 😍

Doctor Sam is on the job 🥰🥰🥰

My dad makes the best fritters using diced up leftover corned beef. So light and fluffy and delicious. If you like, I’ll get the recipe for you to try?

Mum went by my place yesterday and checked on them. She said that she didn’t think a cat could be so expressive until she saw the look of disappointment and loathing on my Mollie’s face 😂

Congratulations! I’m a renter still, but my dad has rammed a number of lessons into my head over the years - check your pipes and water pressure and make sure they don’t need any work; can you open your windows during a rain storm and still let fresh air in without all your belongings getting soaked (this is very

Happy weekend everyone, I hope you are all safe and well and taking care.
