I even feel uncomfortable calling her staying a “decision” or “choice”. Having had most of her life experiences so tightly controlled by family/religion, she isn’t exactly deciding of her own free will. She’s been indoctrinated into this. So... it’s a “choice” but not really a choice.

This only intensifies my desire to go to Scotland.

Also, OF COURSE it isn’t all men. But since I don’t personally know all the men around me at any one time how do I know who I am safe with? AND as is unbearably evident, even the men we know can hurt us. So much anger.

That too! I cried at the last episode for sure. But I won’t even watch “Game of Tones” again. *sniff*

Breaking the rules a bit: it’s not a movie. BUT if you like(d) Futurama the third last episode they ever did (“Game of Tones”) features a twist ending with Fry’s mom that I cannot even think about without crying. I cried for about 15 minutes after that episode ended.
