Chill dude. The light hearted tone was about the absurdity of publishing a confession before committing the crime. Also there was plenty of outrage here about abusers like Avital Ronnel and Asia Argento

“As a romantic suspense writer, I spend a lot of time thinking about murder and, consequently, about police procedure,” Crampton Brophy wrote. “After all, if the murder is supposed to set me free, I certainly don’t want to spend any time in jail.”
Literally every new thing I learn about Marky Mark makes me dislike him even more than I already did.
Have we done NRA TV taking on - wait for it - *Thomas the Tank Engine* yet?
That Department of Swagger tweet is my everything.
In answer to your last question, sometimes I feel like the answer is yes. When women know each other well enough to open up about this, you won’t find many without an experience. Of the friends I have who are close enough to talk, there isn’t one of us without this in our past. The statistics are so far off base…
And never forget that Louis actively called his accusers liars for years. He gives a wet paper bag version of statement when enough women came forward, then go live his wealthy life, and then did standup after a few months. Every one sympathizing with him can kick rocks.
I also just *love* how he keeps referring to it as losing everything ‘in a day’ as though these were single instance accidental ‘oopsies’ and not the culmination of YEARS of crappy behavior that they were never held accountable for.
There are very few people that have gone through what they have, losing everything in a day. Of course, people will go, “What about the victims?” But you know what? The victims didn’t have to go through that.
I do think that at some point it will end with a completely innocent person of prominence sticking a gun in his head and ending it. That’s my guess. I know a couple of people this has happened to.
The headline of this story just makes me want to set things on fire.
See: the $350 100% cotton shirtdress that’s listed as “dry clean only”, which almost certainly means that either the fabric shrinks or the print bleeds/fades .
You actually saw that movie?
Lawyer comment for anyone wondering WTF. Apparently the statutory maximum sentence for kidnapping in Utah is 15 years, and the authorities opted to give her credit for time served since her arrest in 2002, which isn’t unusual.
Agreed. I would have sent the guy a check postdated to the year 66000
Great!
lol! That reminds me, I watched “Atonement” with my Mom (aww) which was just as cringey. Although we both agreed on how great the dress was.
Um, who is that? Because I might be willing to.
Would you allow someone in your family to continually be disrespected and hurt as my dad is and say nothing? I doubt it
