I love the Phantom too. Most badass looking fighter ever, especially from the front.

Thanks! I had one of these watches on my Amazon wish list for a couple of months. Just bought it for $20.

Great idea about putting pdf's in dropbox. I thought I'd saved the manual with schematic for my Dayton garage heater. I needed it last week and found that I'd only saved the link and when I went to it, Grainger had deleted both and replaced it with just a limited parts list. doh!
They didn't call it the 'Yellow Peril' for nothing.
thanks for the great article, Chris. I've been around airplanes and flying all of my life and have never heard of a single blade. I learned to fly in a 7AC Champ and hand-propping usually amazed my passengers. There was a big 'coolness' factor to it.
This article isn't 'baseless' as the facts are right there in it. And it IS tech-related.
The V-22 is a good airplane for what it was designed for; hauling troops, where VTOL comes in handy. The C-2 is a GREAT airplane for what it was designed for: delivering heavy loads of people or whatever to carriers. it was purpose-built for that. What I don't understand is this pentagon penchant for trying to make…
I had our garage professionally done and they caulked all the expansion joints flush before applying the epoxy. It turned out looking great. I don't know what they used but any industrial coatings outfit could tell you.
great idea.
Great article. Thanks! A very good friend who is a construction manager I've worked with said one time, 'first thing on the job every day, take 20 minutes or a half hour to think through what is going to happen on the project that day. Think about every detail you can. Those few minutes will save you hours just on the…
Samuel Clemmons? (Mark Twain) sounds like something he would have written
Rickman is a superb actor, especially when he plays a bad guy. His gunfight with Tom Selleck at the end of Quigley down under is a classic.
The classic Republican 'non-apology'.
Ah, the old Champ 7AC, I believe. That's what I learned to fly - hand prop, no electrical system (handheld radio that almost never worked), 65hp. And it cost $13/hr solo wet and $21/hr dual, if memory serves. It was a blast.
Paul - I looked through my program from 2014 and if I counted correctly, there were 76 breweries represented. Just about all of them have at least 2 beers to sample and many have 3. That's the most I've seen there and why you really need a designated driver ;-)
This is a great idea. I was looking at commercial slat wall but the cost with the boards and all the hangers was too expensive and I really don't like the look of it. this cleat system is the perfect solution. thanks!
Good idea. I did that on our first house. A commercial electrician friend actually talked me into doing it myself. He said, 'you can drill holes and pull wire as good as anybody.' He gave me a 20 minute crash course and set up the panels. I got the permit and told the inspector I did it myself. It cost me a case of…
About running cat5/6: the price of the cable is ridiculously cheap so my rule is, if you need one run, run 2 and leave PLENTY of slack inside the boxes. Also, don't run parallel in close proximity to electrical wiring. Try to keep away from wiring to avoid interference and when you have to, cross over wiring at a…
I've always figured, if it's going in the wall where nobody will ever see it, get the best hardware available. The cost difference isn't enough to quibble about, IMO. On our last big remodel our entire downstairs was stripped down to the studs. The old panel was a cobbled together mess and several of the circuits were…
Awesome! thanks - I didn't know about the altimeter/barometer for Android. This will be useful.
