X-Men 3 is a fine movie and stylistically indistinguishable from the other movies in my opinion. A number of the set pieces like the golden gate bridge or the scene where Storm takes on Callisto and the situation room. I also liked Ellen Page, Callisto, Juggernaut and some of the new characters that thing introduced

I saw a recent essay saying Kate Hudson was a way better actress than Angelina Jolie so Brad is better off (bc apparently he's with KH now?)

Lindsay Lohan was also pretty good in Prairie Home Companion. Fun bit of trivia: She wasn't originally in the script but hounded Garrison Keillor into giving her a part bc so he called the character Lola after the song "whatever lola wants, lola gets"

Damn, that's really good analysis. If you had any freelancing history at all w the av club I would've suggested you pitch it as a for our consideration but they've cut their budget for freelancers a lot

Didn't see any of those 3

better yet, why is Napoleon Dynamite the gold standard of every indie movie. I'm sure so many of the independent films today ("Me and Earl and the Dying Girl" "Paper Towns" "Infinitely Polar Bear" "Dear Lemon Lima" "Tallulah" etc) don't care about that comparison whatsoever. Quirky independent films existed before

Well, these people aren't awful at speaking to girls and do date (two of them have dated Sara Gilbert) and one eventually got married (or perhaps more it's been a while since I've seen the show).

Kind of reminded of that comedian doing a bit watching a sub-par goldie hawn film on tbs just to see her naked and then discovering that TBs cut the scene out

She's pretty gorgeous

She used to be on best week ever alongside Paul f Tompkins, Nick kroll, rob huebel, Natasha Leggero, Jessica St Claire, Paul Sheer. Show some respect!

I don't know, I like movie sex scenes more than porn be it's more ornate and tasteful and there's a backstory to why the two characters are having sex. Just showing two people naked who are strangers to you going at it feels dirty to me. Does that make sense?

I had no pleasure watching that sex scene, it was the weirdest most bizarre sex scene I've ever seen

thank you

there's been some debate and I've gone back and forth with whether to use the term. It's noted that you think it detracts from what I'm saying when I use that pejorative term. how about socially-oriented reviewer instead of SJW reviewer? I feel like it's just skirting what I'm trying to say. I don't mean it in an

I thought this was like a season review, so we can know whether to watch it or so. where's that?

We should have some belated Black Mirror discussions. Weren't the Bryce Dallas Howard and San Junipero episodes great. I think the problem is that it's the wrong medium. They should have picked their best stuff and just made a movie out of them. They were already pretty close to the running time.

Yeah, I didn't respond to it either. I think it didn't really like his characters although in this climate of Latin American xenophobia, it would be interesting to reread Pedro

Rabin neglected to mention that this film has the most awkward sex scene ever put on film in my book. It was so bizarre and horrific

I've been to Idaho but I guess the more touristy parts Luke sun valley and the snake river, I didn't know there was such a weird corner of America too

You hate science and scientist nerds?? I don't understand why just be that show has such high ratings ppl treat it w the same disdain as cbs's less inventive shows. It has an actual concept, it's inspired ppl to accept nerds more and even has inspired ppl to go into science, to me it's an underdog of a show I'm a
