the KKK needs to still read as interesting on screen and dramatic. They manufactured the drama, so who wants to watch manufactured drama? "who wants to watch a lie?" is the main reason it didn't air. Or am I missing what you're trying to say?

I was originally thinking that if A & E wanted to air the series, they should have just donated money to groups that oppose the KKK just to even things out. But, yeah, if the show is a complete sham its not worth airing.

But weren't they pretty outdated? Will and Grace simply was the first but it was by no means the best. I think this will go the way of Fuller House which is being listed by a few publications (Time and EW IIRC) as the worst shows of 2016.

I would agree with that about Supergirl. I also find the Supergirl and Superman story very difficult to make engaging because the person is so all-powerful. I think i would put it lower down.
