this is awesome. I love this so much.

I’ve been rolling around in the greys for months angrily yelling at every article that has covered autism and/or vaccines. I’m tired.

The British would disagree...

Exactly. There are still plenty of state prisons run for profit. I was hoping since an ICE detention center would be a federal institution that they would not be able to contract it out to a private company but since it was as a decision by DoJ and not an actual law, I’m guessing that Sessions can reverse it all with

Alabama tried a similar thing in 2011 with the same results.

Georgia tried it in 2012 and lost $140 million because there was no one to pick produce.

Moot point, when you don’t cast a reflection.

God dammit. Hypocrites.

My husband and I took a Lyft home from the airport protests at SFO this weekend. We were speaking with our driver about it and he asked if we could also please go to Standing Rock. He grew up there on a reservation and had been part of the protests up until he moved to California just a few months ago. I asked him

Are you kidding? There are people who would kill to be able to say they personally put the hurt on an Obama... That’s part of how we got here.

I thought I had heard that too, that IVF was a sin. Any tampering with human life, creating it “artificially,” preventing it from happening (birth control and abortion), eugenics, war in most cases, suicide whether assisted or not, the death penalty, I think even Do Not Resuscitate orders are a no-no.

Also, a fairly baffling ignorance of Catholic theology--considering that procuring an IVF is already verboten and a mortal sin in of itself.

Have you asked them how they explain that? I mean, I understand if you haven’t because it might seem overly confrontational to some people but if you have I’m just curious how they rationalize that. (Also, do you know if they know the Catholic Church’s stance on IVF?)

She was also a highly respected script doctor, known for saving Sister Act and The Wedding Singer, among dozens of others.

Dude makes pro-genocide statement on twitter. Dude is surprised that this provoked a negative response? I think we typically want a negative response to statements like that. And whatever stupid shit Breitbart probably said, the Twitter responses were not a “horde of racist trolls”. In a couple minutes of

It seems the Nazi “Alt” right are the ones in actual need of safespaces and whose feelings are easily hurt.

That’s possible. I was bullied a lot as a kid. A quick perusal of Facebook indicates that, like me, friends who were really bullied tend to not have any kids, while every single person who bullied me does. One of them has 6 kids.
