What season was that? There are still a few back seasons I missed and that sounds like a slice of fried gold.

I hope that bears out. I'd like to see it, but I wasn't getting that vibe this episode.

I can't figure out why I'm the only person who isn't into Jenn. Something about her rubs me the wrong way, but I can't put my finger on it. I do think she has a little bit of a mean girl streak in her, but that's not it.

I thought we were heading for an Adriana. But to the credit of the show, I changed my mind about whether or not Ava was going to die about five times during that scene.

I thought that was such a random fucking reference but I loved it. Did have to remind hubby who WS was.

I loved it when Raylan asked her if she wanted to hold the baby and she asked him if he asked Tim if he wanted to as well? Zing!

Unfortunately (and I hate saying this because I think Joan Cusack is sort of fantastic), Sheila was really only fun on this show when she was agoraphobic.

I was reading another recap somewhere online and was shocked at how many people (the vast majority of commenters) were rooting for JJS to stay and for him and Fiona to get back together. I actually like him as a character - I think he's interesting and, frankly, sort of adorable - but that relationship has run its

I'm dying over these autocorrects.

"As a coconut vendor, I seek truth." Best line of the night.

I was LOVING the editing, showing his crazy jealous face every time Joe did something good.

I'm actually enjoying watching their discomfort so much.

Totally forgot that he was a marine, but that might be because he was such a sad sack the first two seasons. I'm still not buying into his sudden badassery lol

I enjoy new Gordon, but I'm also sort of annoyed at his character retcon. I can't think of any single thing we've learned about his character that would lead me to think he was capable of dishing out a well-choreographed ass whupping.

I'm with you on the closure thing, but I'm wondering if it's actually Sean that is the end game. Definitely aint sweet, sexy, adorable, hunky Gus, much to my viewing sadness.

I always felt that way until he moved in with them. Apart from the (very big) fact that he didn't actually stay, he did commit to it for longer than I would have expected. At that point, he had no money, no prospects and he sort of threw himself in head first. I don't think that was a joke to him, but I do think he

I'm so torn. I actually loved the dynamic between JJS and Fiona, but Gus is just awesome. It's a different energy. I feel bad for him. There's no chance that they end up together in the end.

That's my question, too. The legality and procedural b.s. of how you would go about "getting" him.

I have to guess that now that restaurants are faced with more and more food allergies and requests for things like GF, vegetarian probably seems easy in comparison. But yeah, I agree that that is irksome when you consider the overall creativity and caliber of the chefs of past seasons.

This elimination made me infinitely sad, but I hope Doug's stellar performance throughout the series makes him feel like he no longer has anything to prove to people. I hope he's able to translate his success here into his own restaurant in the future.
