Really? You're going to quit NOW? lol
Really? You're going to quit NOW? lol
It's literally my biggest pet peeve about this show, and I say that as somebody who loves this show unconditionally. How the f*&% do the contestants not learn how to make, say, three desserts before they come on the show?!? I thought that the challenge would have been ridiculously hard either way (it seemed like there…
Whoops - that was my fault for not reading closely enough lol. I thought somebody was saying that Ian had Paranoid Personality Disorder. Ignore me!
I'm pretty sure he has a mental problem - I'm just not sure it's PPD.
I love that scene and how, just barely perceptibly, you could see Mickey starting to tear up. There is nothing more terrifying than that moment when you realize somebody you love has a serious mental illness. It all crystallizes in that one second.
I didn't get that vibe until you said it lol, but seriously I love the chemistry between those two. Watching them together just made me sad because you know, in Shameless fashion, that it won't work, but I want it to.
Oh god, that motorcycle double was dreadful. The wig was completely wrong and I'm not even sure that it was a female stunt driver.
I missed it, but it looks like they are replaying it tonight (Friday night). Just an FYI for anybody trying to catch it.
Total cryfest. My husband in the other room playing Xbox and giving me the side-eye every time he hears me sobbing. I don't care if it was sappy, unrealistic, optimistic, whatever. It was exactly how it should be. For me, one of the most satisfying endings of a series, right up there with Six Feet Under.
But I want us to be the only people who matter!
Somebody somewhere commented that it would be better for LCK to result in an automatic place in next season's cast instead of the current season's finale. This makes sense to me.
I was laughing when she was squirting it onto the pasta because it literally looked like wet concrete. Ick. I did feel like a red meat would have made for a more effective splash of pink than shrimp, as well.
I was really surprised reading Libby's take on the Mei/Bea pairing. I thought it looked dreadfully forced and more like Mei was humoring her so as not to look like a bad sport on TV.
Something that Altman would definitely appreciate.
The thing that I loved most about this episode was the sweet friendship between the two men. More often than not on TV, you see guy friends being sort of dicks to one another, or they are more interested in coming off like bros than friends. These were two adult friends who support each other. Love it!
The weird thing about a lot of women, myself included, is that the funnier a man is, the more physically attractive they become to me. I'm not saying I think they should end up together, but I don't necessarily discount it based on physical attraction either.
I liked that this new love interest sort of came out of nowhere. And that dude is WAY hotter and way more likeable than Davis.
I don't know why that Frak line was so funny, but it totally was. I had to pause the show for my husband and I to finish laughing.
Then you are definitely watching the wrong show. I say leave the cynical/realistic end to other shows. I want my Parenthood sweet and sappy and full of hope.
As a face-sweater, I really feel for him, but I can't stand watching how much sweat *must* be going into his food.
