I know I'm in the minority, but… Strangely, I absolutely loathe Blais as a contestant and love him as a judge. My heart feels confused.

I've watched every season of Top Chef (minus Masters) and, as a result, have forgotten most of the specific scenes/challenges, but I will ALWAYS remember Mikey's Cheeto.

I can't believe I'm going to admit to knowing this (because Congo is close to the top of my list of worst movies ever), but it was Dylan Walsh.

Nobody ever sees their own hypocrisy on TV shows, and especially on this one (Governor, termites, etc.). It would probably make for pretty boring TV if people said, "welllll… we did screw them over first, so fair's fair."

I should add that I don't mind an asshole who can cook on this show. It's people like Aaron - assholes who don't seem to have the talent to back up their big mouths - who drive me bonkers.

I think she's an asshole (who can cook), and the fact that she's Voltaggio's second in command does nothing to help that opinion. That being said, I do like somebody who can admit when they are wrong, which she did.

You think they would have at least killed a few of them before jumping down into the water.

I was wondering if it was just overconfidence - a) we are so much better at challenges, it's unlikely we will lose, so we might as well save "good" people for a challenge where we'll need them; or b) even if we do lose, we could stand to lose a person or two, so we might as well save "good" people for a challenge

Chibs: "You should be thanking me for the sex."

I found myself oddly concerned about the disposition of Michonne's sword and when they are ever going to come across a sword shop.

arrggghhh that's so annoying. Often I skip the "next week" segment so that I don't spoil things for myself. Totally missed that - will have to go back.

The never-changing frowny scowl he's got going on is making me a little crazy.

Which was also after his stint working for Boyd Crowder, I believe.

The thing that makes me so crazy about this show is that the stupid previews that they played for 8 months leading up to the premier were SO good and creepy. I was so f*&%ing jazzed for this show and it's been a total letdown. It needs to decide if it's camp or drama and then make it so.

Oh man… I'm so opposite. As much as I would love Amber to have a daddy for her baby, I would like it to be pretty much anybody else on earth at this point. They never seem happy together and I don't think a baby is going to help that dynamic much.

Of course, she laughed when he said it - you can pretty much bet that is a core facet of their relationship - him saying awful shit and her giggling about it. Blech.

Yup - she shouldn't be surprised when she acted like a puppy to Josh's master in the first week that he treats her like one.

I get why the sheriff is interested in Chibs. Boy, do I ever get it…

It's only been one episode, but so far I'm loving Season 6 Sarah. Her character has always been problematic (especially considering how much we all love Lauren Graham), but I felt like this episode showed the Sarah we wished we had all along - surprising her dad with a Vegas trip, the fun easy banter between her and

Zeek in the hospital was just awful. It was funny for the first minute and then he just became unbearable.
