Instant tears. Just when I thought I would manage an entire Parenthood episode without crying, they get me. Between Amber's confusion and likely fear of disappointing her mom, to Sarah realizing that her daughter is following very similarly in her footsteps, it was just gut-wrenching. Assuming that she keeps it, I'm

I read somebody else posit that maybe they had the wrong Cary - that it was the other one at the firm. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's just the wrong guy.

I agree that it's a legitimate strategy - it's just not one I like to watch lol

Yeah - it was the "I'll do anything you want me to" so early in the game that put me off - not the reluctance to form an all-girl alliance. I just thought it was funny that she went from that discussion to immediately hitching her wagon to a guy and telling him she'll do whatever he does. blech.

How many times did John Rocker's girlfriend mention how awesome she was for being John Rocker's gf? She's ugh.

I sort of have an instant dislike for Baylor now. Right after talking about forming an all girls alliance she runs to Josh and says she'll do whatever he's doing. Disappointing.

Prior to Nadiya's completely tone deaf treatment of Josh in the second half of the episode, I found myself thinking that they weren't nearly as annoying so far on Survivor as they were on TAR. I did hate them with that $100 stunt on TAR, but I thought maybe they had learned their lesson about how people see them. Now

I always assume people specifically fatten up before they come out - just enough to have something to lose, but not too much that they can't move.

Mother/daughter relationships at that age are VERY complicated. I went through a period between 15-20 where my mother and I couldn't stand each other. Now we are best friends.

It's funny because objectively I know that B isn't actually a bad grade, but I laughed so hard so many times last night that I was sort of disappointed to come see a B, but I do think the review was spot-on.

Oh man - now I don't remember lol. Too much has happened!

And, as part of that, he was feeding information to the cops or DA or whoever Ray McKinnon was playing (IIRC).

Chuckie: "I'm an excellent driver."

Even though I've never been a fan of Margaret's character in the past, I found myself strangely excited to see her back to face off with Nucky. She's changed as a result of her circumstances and doesn't have the luxury of seeing the world in black and white anymore, so I'm eager to see where this goes.

While I wouldn't want to be friends with (or live with) either Caleb or Victoria, I find them strangely enjoyable to watch lately. There's a certain pleasure to be had in their delusional nature. That montage of Caleb telling tall tales last night was hilarious.

For us older AVers, it was Cabbage Patch or Barbie, I'm afraid. Those American Girl dolls are SUPER creepy looking, though.

Raffi is better in very small doses. Too much Raffi and it grows old real quick.

I'm with you. I was a little underwhelmed by last week's season opener, but was cracking up through this whole episode.

The fact that Wendy has become one of the most sympathetic characters on this show is a testament to how awful everybody is. Except Chibs. Chibs can do no wrong.

I'll have a good laugh if Juice is the only person left standing by the end of the show.
