    More like they’re reacting to what is, on the surface, an understandable fear: confronting someone who is actively concealing something from you.

    I do think there’s merit to restricting clothing/attire that masks the wearer’s identity in public spaces. A burqa ban is too targeted in its intent, but I think the underlying fear (that’s being projected through a lens of xenophobia) is a natural human reaction to coming across someone who is concealing something.

    My entire family is down. My disease vector niece arrived to thanksgiving and instantly vomited, and my mom got it last night. My brother and sister-in-law went to Red Lobster and came back with the most violent food poisoning I’ve ever heard/seen. My cousin got the niece disease and ended up vomiting for three hours…

    To be fair, it is reasonable to now wonder if Obama DID usher in the end times (or at least directly precede them).

And then I had to spend the next month explaining our entire electoral and governmental system, and the month after THAT apologizing for Bush and the Supremes.

    I’m actually surprised that Harry issued a statement; that’s pretty fucking serious. Royals usually don’t comment unless they think something’s going to be a long-running issue, indicating Meghan may be in it for the long haul.
