Letting directors put their mark on a movie would help as the Raiminess of Doctor Strange 2 really stood out.  It’s not a great movie as it suffers from pandemic issues causing rewrites and making the story feel off, but it’s fun seeing the campy horror elements.

Winter Soldier is SO good and watching it in-time with Agents of SHIELD was a truly wild ride. That shift was also incredible.

I would argue that Winter Solider is where Marvel showed they could successfully shift their formula into broader genres, and then almost immediately abandoned that experimentation to make everything more generic.

That is, in my opinion, why we’re seeing so much talk of doom and gloom around the MCU currently. It isn’t

So . . . you are Pro Werewolf Cap?

Loved this movie. I hated that no one brought up in Civil War that Steve had already put himself under proper authority and the chain of command and it turned out that the proper authority were HYDRA FASCISTS.

I mean, I guess the movie could be switching things up, but Shalla-Bal was the Silver Surfer’s girlfriend on his home planet. I don’t know if she ever had an alternate story where she became the Surfer instead. There’s no harm in it, of course.

Comic book incels meltdown in 3... 2...

I know the knee-jerk reaction is to hate this. BUT Goddard is awesome and this could be great from him.

Also, Resurrections was STRANGE but I really appreciate that film.

EDITTING to add, Goddard was heavily involved in The Good Place and he made Cabin in the Woods. When you strip away the facade of each of those, they

I am actually ROOTING FOR the Matrix to live in another timeline. If the Matrix is STILL in the 90's, then PLUG. ME. IN.

Get ready for more of this, as PE ghouls and other such “investors” race to do this to the interior of the country.

If successful at first, it will attract people (buyers).  That will drive up housing costs massively, which will price out any lower-end folks (read: servers, bartenders, teachers), leaving this a rich man’s enclave and nothing else (Steamboat Springs says hello!).  It cant really be a functioning city unless they

Reject Modernity, Embrace the Weird:

The “Detective Pikachu” movie was also great in that regard! The basic shapes had to be like in the original, that seemed to be half the recipe for a great visual adaptation of the Pokémon.

No mention of their meeting after this but I am guessing they got his support. Newsom is the Democratic version of Trump with his pay to play politics.

Whatever it is I will assume Newsom and a large deposit from California Forever to one of his many campaigns had to do with the decision.

Overall, I actually enjoyed it. But only because I came in with rock bottom expectations.

I thought it was just ‘okay’. After Minus One, I knew it wouldn’t compete so just expected an action-packed, no-brain, monster-brawling showdown. Just good old fun and monster action.

Oh good we get to play as two badass supersoldiers.....and probably will be forced to play these other two generic ass dipshits.

But you know... What if there’s a bunch of bad guys roughly 200 meters away?
