Also, if you seriously think that superhero films are the major thing standing between us and a better domestic and/or global political situation, I really don’t know what to tell you.

Yeah at this point my biggest concern is the resolution to Kang Dynasty/Secret Wars is the OG squad having to come out of retirement. Which would make for a great temporary hoorah moment but likely kill any chance the next generation of characters has of catching on.
As much as I love the original team, it plays right into many of the core criticisms of Phase 4 for anyone to be resurrected like their death had no stakes and no meaning.
And then they turned her into a fascist, locking people up because the psychic she was also illegally locking up for no reason said they “MIGHT” commit a crime.

“Roe is settled law” --half the fucknuts in their SCOTUS confirmations.
Unrelated to this story, RIP Jezebel - just read it in the NYTimes. I hope all the writers land on their feet :-(
What he says is great. What he does is... well...
Absolutely. If a Republican president is elected and we’ve got a Republican House and Senate, they’re sending a total or near-total (6 weeks, no exceptions) ban to president to sign. And if it’s Haley or someone else, it doesn’t matter. That Republican president will all of the sudden believe something like, “This…
I pulled this off ABC’s coverage. It’s partially a copout, but he isn’t incorrect about the need for continued services being made available to women and families (although the “drug addiction” feels like he is making either a race or class slight).
It’s so odd to me that the Party that favors leaving things to the States needs the government to ban things. So odd.
If Ramaswamy really thinks that Republicans believe in the use of contraception, then I’ve got a hell of a property in DeSatan’s Florida to sell him. Great views, stunning castle, bit of a mouse problem tho.
If you still believe in the mythological “2023 moderate Republican” then I’d maybe be careful throwing around words like “clownishly.”
It’s wild that the studios think this is a viable offer for anyone.
There seems to be a great deal of thirst for this movie to do poorly. I can’t tell if it’s fans of The Flash, Black Adam, and the incredibly successful DCPU or just the usual mix of racism and misogyny that makes the Internet wonderful... All I know is that when I don’t want something to succeed, I just... don’t…
They could bring Stan Lee back from the dead, but unless Zombie Stan tells them to stop making shitty “We’ll fix it in post” decisions they will continue to produce shitty post products.
“It's awesome, guys! We can use AI to free us from the tyranny and oppression of creativity, this freeing humans to do what they've been born to: write and debug code!"
I think the best way to explain away all these things is to just say that every Multiverse has their own Multiversal organizational system, and for some reason, many Universe’s call themselves 616.
I see what you did there.
Why wouldn’t each universe consider itself “Universe 1" and designate each other universe by the order in which they were discovered?
