The Drowned God brings him back, giving him a newfound bond with Euron and leading to the first threesome on the Iron throne.

So… what are the odds of the show going the far too obvious and cheesy route of having Jon bend the knee in order to ask for Dany's hand in marriage?

True, he might be tempted to release Jaime [and Bronn?] if he ends up captured and facing the wrath of the Mother of Dragons though…

The question is whether he becomes Jon's dragon first…

What if he takes Bran as a hostage / prophetic tool South though? Maybe it's wishful narrative-building on my part but it certainly would shake things up and give Arya and Brienne a reason to team up for a rescue / vengeance mission…

Actually, the technicalities on that are ambigious. I distinctly remember Jaqen wearing Arya's own face once, just before she went blind I think. It's weird, cos it seems to directly undermine the whole faceskinning thing…

Rather than try to kill Bran he might try to take him as a hostage and a useful prophetic tool, not to mention, potential proposal gift for Cersei…

Nah, I still think Littlefinger has another play to make. I figure Bran's threats and his current awareness that Arya could gut him in her sleep, let alone his, will lead him to make one more failed play to win Sansa over before he heads south and switches sides one final time.

You know, I have a niggling thought that Bran's all-knowing and the potential revelations of his treachery might be the thing that makes Littlefinger switch sides [again]. As things stand Cersei is on the back foot again and could certainly do with another ace up her sleeve to even the odds.

Someone screwed up when trying to correct their 'Kong's Landing' mistake and just messed up the page instead.

until the shocking mid season reveal when the writers give the fans just what they've always wanted- MORE SAND SNAKES!

If I'm honest, it did the best it could.

Yeah, though Ellaria could potentially be used as a hostage to discourage Dornish lords from joining the war.

Nah, think they're leaving that to the Night King. Makes for a more climatic end if he fights Dany on an undead ice dragon.

Well, Bran is on his way down south with some news that could potentially turn the North against Jon Snow…

errr, actually Euron was elected and crowned King of the Iron Islands. Yara and Theon just fled with a bunch of ships and a few loyal men. They really weren't in control of anything o the islands, and have even less potential power now.

Has anyone managed to actually trademark their own first name?

The Brits don't tend to be as protective of the reputations of their long-dead kings and queens as Americans are of their presidents'. Even supposedly great monarchs like Elizabeth I can be happily made fun of, as in Blackadder II. The real concern is not whether they'll react badly to one of their least liked kings

Actually, in order to fill 3.5 hours they've probably used all the tweets and Facebook comments they'd been sent. I watched the first 5 minutes and it seems they started with the more negative ones- medicine and sweatsocks are brought up if I recall.

I guess this bacchanal is over.
