Haha. When there’s an Allstate mayhem commercial about this topic, how can it not go wrong?

Requirements were manual, RWD (AWD was a close 2nd), and quick. I had test drove a few new and used Miatas but the 10/11 models were either full optioned or base models. Base model Miatas had fewer amenities than my 914 did. I ended up buying a Gen Coupe 2.0T Track because it was $500 more than a base Miata. Well that

I’d like to hear the full explanation.

Hahaha, fair enough. And I have to confess the only reason I was commenting that early in the AM was an overly strong cup of coffee

Yeah... that was never correct with any generation of Cayman...

Me, a Very Tech Person: Electric cars don’t need a grille!

I hate how nice this looks and I hate how I kinda want one.

The hybrid is running full-time Atkinson cycle (via late intake valve closing), so calling it 14:1 compression is a misnomer. It’s probably closer to something like 8-10:1 in reality... but it’s 14:1 expansion.

Just a slightly longer stroke and a slightly less narrow valve angle, and you achieve record breaking thermal efficiency? I am not buying that. In the course of the evolution of the engine, people have tried every imaginable valve angle and stroke and bore combinations. No way on earth that these two very mild changes

Giant truck or tiny wheels?

No, that front view looks horrible.

Dude, where’s the hammer cause you hit the nail on the head. That is SO true.

Modern chains are pretty much maintenance free, changing your oil is the maintenance. The chain itself pretty much never fails, failures are usually guides or tensioners. Usually failures are from not changing your oil.

Oh, which by the way only available with a CVT. So it’s got that going against it right out of the gate.

I disagree.

I believe it’s because CVTs still can’t take large amounts of torque.

Don’t forget Ranger Raptor’s all-new Watt’s linkage rear suspension with coilover springs, which helps ensure rear axle lateral stability off-road while also improving ride and handling!

Yeah, I drove the Coyote-powered ‘01 Bullitt at Waterford Hills road course once. Do not recommend. The tires and the coilovers from the Coyote swap weren’t helping, but it wasn’t good.

I don’t know if 4th gen was the best Bullitt, but Bullitt was definitely the best 4th gen.

Heh. It’s straight off of the crank snout.
