Do evs consider carrying their fatass batteries around as losses?
Because what they are calling drive-train loss is thermodynamic inefficiency that also occurs at some point in the creation of their power... not to mention distribution losses etc. etc. etc.

Chains last indefinitely if oiled correctly.... tensioners do not.

yea pretty much what he said...

I mean i’ll buy the manual too if they finally come out with a non EJ based engine with an appropriate power to weight ratio (rather than adding 100lbs and 2 hp every year)

I don’t know how they made a Cherokee replacement with ifs that rides and drives worse than the Cherokee. I mean on road, around town I’d still rather drive the Cherokee.

This news met with a resounding who gives a shit.... and I like mustangs

No, no we don’t.

When I knew about these cars in the 90s about everyone that was running had a small block Chevy or ford in it

It already was. “Pay someone else to desing our sports cars because we have no passion but recognize that sports cars help marketing campaigns.”

This is the kind of bullshit thinking that allows ford to bring back the “Mach 1” name as a fucking electric crossover.

there are multiple non usdm special editions that came with equal length twin scroll turbo setups that sound like Honda’s basically anything with a higher spec than the sti.

I disagree, as much as I would prefer a flat engine, I would prefer any 6 cylinder to the flat 4. Tbh they just need to build a stronger engine. I’m probably done with Subaru as I can afford nicer cars now and I did love my 450ish whp legacy gt but the ever present issues... so sick of the issues. And it’s not

2 thoughts.

Basically at this point I’m looking for understated colors that aren’t white black or some shade of gray or silver.

It seems like every company offers 9 monochromatic colors and 3 colors that are way over the top for sports cars.

Sometimes i hate that jalopnik reads my mind.

Truth is i’ve been bitching for 3 years that the only car that has come in a manual in good (between emerald and forest) green is the first year of the c7 vette that also had the “i’m wearing a retainer” grille.
and unfortunately i don’t like GM products much and i also

F type has to be the 6 to be a manual and is heavy for it’s size

The FA sounds like an inline to me with an equal length exhaust but it certainly doesn’t feel like a honda 4 (which i find makes one of the worst noises of any engine unless you try really hard to tune the buzz out of the exhaust but hey they rev and make power)

My problem is no one is ticking all the boxes like

Yes, it will be.

Performance pack level 2 not out yet ?

seriously how the hell....
