If you look at the 40k side (i.e. my jeep) you would easily sink 15k into a base jeep to get it to the 40k jeep between the axle upgrades, and transfer case upgrades + having that integrated into a warrantied vehicle is awesome.

honestly, yes it would be a 50k car, but when the sti was introduced. It was 35-40k.... and its former competitors are all 50k now.

Most of the weight of the current car is one the battery pack, this announcement makes us asssume they have found a new battery technology. Otherwise you are talking about a 2,200 lb battery pack alone using Tesla’s current battery system as a benchmark.

With that much torque, range, and the presumptive weight of a 200kw battery pack, this thing may make a great tow vehicle.
