Out of all the scoobies I know the turbo ones blow other things way before the head gaskets. The n/a cars start having head gasket issues in the 150+ mileage I think which is when I sold mine.

You aren't slamming gears together like a dog box your just locking down a clutch on the next planetary gear sets.
