They sold the engines on gas mileage and they developed a reputation for being fun... now it's going to be a fun engine that's still eco-freindly (or more eco friendly than it would be if it made the power some other way)

Subaru legacy gt and Ob Xt would have sold more if they didn't put a terrible turbo on it... Seriously though.. why go out of your way to use a shitty turbo that fails every 50-70 thousand mile when the owner uses the recommended oil at the recommended oil change interval? i went through 2 of those POS turbos on…
