They don’t. Their gacha games still get called out for being predatory games (fairly certain Heather’s written about FEH, as has Stephen on Dragalia Lost).

I....I can’t stop watching.
In my experience it’s the boring 30 somethings that like to talk politics, though perhaps not the depth expected of that age (too many other priorities, as you say).
I’ll stay in my bubble and just be happy to play.
My curiosity is if the dialogue could’ve been translated any other way.
Note: haven’t played the game but it’s on my list.
You are a star in this bleak world. Thank you.
That’s a neat idea. Definitely depends on the person, but I definitely agree that knowing how a story plays out might make things more enjoyable.
The issue is best summed up by the article’s last point: a lot of viewers feel that the streamers aren’t being sincere about getting people help with mental illness and are more concerned about profiting off referrals.

Lol, fair is fair
Second hand shops. Same purpose, probably not as unsavory.
My understanding is that the people that follow “influencers” are the new generation of people that (still) continue reading gossip magazines and believe/don’t scrutinize the articles, or follow celebrity endorsements like they’re the Pope. With “influencers,” it’s just that the audience is younger.
Fans gonna fan so long as no one else is harmed is my general slogan, so I don’t have an issue that he’s buying up so much Rem merch. I wouldn’t, but more power to him.
The guy spent (checking...) 26K USD (assuming) on Rem merch. I’ve spent a lot of money too on collectibles, games, Gunpla, but 26K is far above my limit to spend on one thing.
It’s a very good question. It seems he’d be voluntary, so he wouldn’t be an incel.
I like Rem as much as the next Re:zero fan (she maybe cheesy, but damn it if it wasn’t good cheese) but this.
Slifer no swiping!
