To be fair, it’s a fresh start. That said, yes, the monsters I’ve seen arent craaaaaaazy like older generations. 

Have you played any of the older MH games before? Because “Grind: the Game” is exactly what MH is. I can’t say much about World (haven’t played) but in Generations Ultimate, the higher rank monsters? Veeeeery much a Dark Souls fight, e.g. learn the movesets and attack/dodge properly or get hit for a pretty big chunk…

Maybe I’m just becoming a “filthy casual” in my old age, but it just feels dumb to rush through and expect to digest the experience the same way as if you took things at a measured pace, then get upset when there isn’t enough content to keep you busy. There was enough content, you just tried to AGDQ it.

I find a way to play that I like and I stick with it.

Fiiiine, if books to movies/games are apples to oranges, then movies are to games like...tangerines are to clementines. Or something.

Personally, I think VR is the next step for gaming to take in order to become stronger experiences, but it’s still in super early stages (and the price tag doesn’t help either).

Honestly? If that’s what it takes to reduce the number of trolls and assholes, I’m all for the app.
