I loved Piratz too, but let's be real—a bar where it's Ren Fair 365 days a year couldn't really last in the new Downtown Silver Spring. Since I lived in Madison a the time, most of the people were coming from the Onion side. You could kinda tell from the profiles who were Onion people and who were Nerve people.
There actually was an Onion Personals site back in the day. Since I've been taken for 10 years, it's actually the only one I used. I would not be surprised if one of my dates was a commenter here.
