Excellent news, thank you.
Excellent news, thank you.
He is 100% optional, as are all the companions.
I believe Boo’s exact taxonomy is “Miniature Giant Space Hamster”, to be exact...
Same question I had. Hopefully it's just an option, because I already can't stand the idea of a stupid vampire as a PC.
That sounds bearable. (No pun intended.)
Damnit, this makes my choice of character more complicated than I expected. I had been planning on making a Paladin, but there doesn’t seem to be one among the choosable characters.
All of the BG games are D&D adaptations and the previous games had their fair share of silliness too. Minsc and his space hamster, for example. As with its predecessors, BG3 is going to be a mostly serious game with moments of levity.
I honestly can’t tell what you’re trying to say with this post. The original Baldur’s Gate was based on D&D. If you’re going in expecting the same gameplay experience with 3 you’re going to be wildly disappointed because the differences between 2nd Edition D&D and 5th Edition are numerous enough to fill Elon Musk’s…
Goofy shit like this is why I am going to prefer to think of this game as a D&D adaptation instead of a true successor to Baldur’s Gate. I feel like if I don’t approach BG3 with any level of seriousness (or the expectations that being a sequel to my all-time favorite game would bring) I can probably accept it, druid…
The game will allow you to make your own character, but it will also have Origin characters that you can choose to play as instead. Origin characters are recruitable companions that your character can interact and build relationships with if you are playing as an original character.
Both. You can create a Character or pick a companion and play from their POV.
Uh... okay.
Bluesky isn’t finished yet, which is why it’s in invite-only mode. Basically they’re ramping up userbase and making sure that their servers and services can handle the load. Threads is further along in its development than Bluesky, Bluesky just happened to have a far more open Beta due to it being connected to Jack…
I’m not a heavy Twitter user so I may be mistaken, but I don’t recall that permitting users to limit replies to certain users (outside simply making your account private). It looks like Thread will allow users to have threads viewable to the public while limiting who can engage/reply. I can see that being an…
The new feature is the lack of Elon actively trying to destroy it from the inside. I would never use Twitter or the like so I’m just trying to understand what it would take to be the next Twitter replacement. Or will people realize they didn’t need Twitter as much as they thought?
New: “Now with fewer Nazis!”
No, it’s not. I tried it years ago - it was clunky, cumbersome and a ghost town. I tried it again last year - it was still clunky, still cumbersome, and still a ghost town. Here’s something that may sound weird to some people: most people prefer an easy, user-friendly experience over “FEDERATED NETWORK!!11!1"
Yeah. If Jack was just supporting RFK Jr. for dumb reasons, it would be forgivable, but RFK Jr. is a full-on attempt to create a “MAGA Jill Stein” to get Trump back into the White House.
Jack Dorsey can scoff all he wants from the gated walls of Bluesky but until he opens it up versus the slow trickle of invite codes, I suspect Threads could eat his lunch as a Twitter alternative even with the data scraping.
And users in the EU are apparently out of luck, for now.
