I was pretty dismissive of Reeve for a lot of years, but rewatching those movies as an adult, it was clear how absolutely perfect he was for that role.

I did actually rewatch ‘Captain Marvel’ after the first episode of ‘Secret Invasion’. I’m not sure I picked up anything new about either one of them, but I certainly had a great time with the film. I know a lot of people think it’s “mid”, but I like it a lot and Brie Larson in particular is so much fun.

Actually the war had just ended with a peace treaty(that Ronan was ignoring), which sounded pretty unlike the Kree, who are usually hardline never-surrender zealot types. Could easily have been her influence making that happen.

This really isn’t a thing.  The MCU rewards you for having seen everything, but it isn’t strictly necessary. You can take any newbie to any Phase 4 movie and say, “A big purple guy got some rocks and destroyed half the universe. Five years later, the good guys brought them back.”

Gravik could also just be a guy that says, “Why are we looking around when we could easily just conquer these idiots?” and he then leads a movement that corrupts a bunch of young Skrulls like G’iah.
