Bernie should have worked to get the woman vote. He keeps repeating the same talking points. It’s on Bernie to expand his base and he didn’t.

Yes. Now is the time to fight - if the movement is not about a specific person prove it: our Legislative Branch is a goddamn shit-show, no thanks to special interest group monies that pumped into the local and state offices which control district maps, education systems, and voting opportunities. The Attorneys General

Your reply was really beautiful and so on point. Right now, we have to defeat Trump and the republicans.  We have no time for arguments. Staying home or not voting for the Democratic nominee is pure EVIL at this point. Biden is going to be the nominee, let's get behind him just as you said and push him for what we

It’s over. Ya’ll got the person you wanted. The rest of us who wanted Sanders just couldn’t convince you. Maybe we were too whiny, a little too enthusiastic, and bit too bombastic. We shoved when we should have pointed. We screeched when we should have whispered. Instead of building a team, perhaps we built a rampart.

I can't help it--I find it endearing, and think it will end up energizing the base (?)

I was waiting to see if someone was going to bring that up. Cornell and his buddy Tavis totally loss black people respect, when they went around bad mouthing President Obama for eight years. Fuck him and his oppercoonist buddy.

Probably because asking why the poor racists voted for the rich racist is a pointless question. They liked the racism.

The issue isn’t that older black people don’t think it will be beneficial. The issue is that they don’t think Bernie can win.

And while all of this is nice, none of this undoes any of Bloomberg’s racist policy as New York City’s mayor.

Do you know how much stupid shit I did when I was 23?

I mean they’re the only advisers you guys would bend over backwards to make excuses for, so....

Sanders was not Ocasio-Cortez in 2016 though. He used his vote totals to effectively buy himself a seat at the table. He got to influence how the primary’s worked and the party platform.

I have no illusions that any of these people think Joe Biden is the best we’ve got to take on Trump. I think horses were traded (Buttigieg and Klobuchar probably got shortlisted for VP, Kamala got a nod for Attorney General, etc.) and Biden got the field to coalesce around him.

This shouldn’t really be all that surprising. Hillary warned us - no one likes Bernie. Three other Senators in the race and they’ve all declined to endorse him.

Yep it’s the evil scheming party elites who put the nail in Sander’s coffin. Not the fact that his coalition didn’t understand a retweet is not a vote.

I’ll fall for it, because Biden is putting the kind of voter coalition together that won the 2018 midterms and he’s doing well with demographics that exist in swing states. I would prefer that Sanders do this, but it hasn’t born out yet.

This.

So the next few months are gonna be all about the giant conspiracy against Bernie? I’m bored in advance.

It’s hard to care about the kind of “castle in the sky” promises Sanders is waving in front of people while black kids are killed in the streets by law enforcement and the officers keep walking free. Trump WANTS to run against Sanders, and that tells me the RNC believes that a) their data shows that they can sink
