So, to review: Molest kids and you get moved, hidden, lied for, covered up, protected. For years. By everyone, all the way to the top.

Oh, sure THEY can be removed from the ministry.  Shouldn’t they just be moved to a different parish so they can steal money there too?

The difference is that this is actually a case covered by the First Amendment. If Kathy Griffin was investigated by the Secret Service and the AG at the request of the president and had her livelihood impacted (if you are on a no fly list, it’s real hard to go on tour), then this is a case of government censorship and…

The difference is that this instance is actually about free speech — the government investigated her and intimidated her. The industry not supporting her isn’t the free speech issue, no matter how much it sucks for her, it’s the stuff that the government did that toed the line.

This should be surprising to nobody. The rich people of this country always take advantage of the most vulnerable among us, especially undocumented immigrants. Also not surprising - this will not bother Trump supporters in the least.

Oh man, I worry about these women staying safe.

Incorrect. To betray ignorance of something is to provide evidence of one’s own ignorance. Hence, in writing the piece, the author betrayed her ignorance of Indian customs by implying that asking a groom to ride in on a horse was onerous or unusual.
