Because the name itself came from the now long-defunct New York World newspaper, which proposed the series as a way to settle the inevitable arguments over which champion was better, the one from the NL or from the AL.

You left out the best part! When Manny Machado hit that home run tonight with two outs in the bottom of the ninth off Chris Sale, that was amazing.

The alternative was the fucking Dodgers. Let’s admit it, the champ was gonna be loathsome, it was just a question of degrees of loathsomeness.

Jacob’s cabin was originally built by Horace, and Jacob hung out there for a period of time before it was taken over by MiB.

“Of course, we all wanted to know the “truth” about the island and Jacob and those stupid polar bears, but whatever that truth is only exists between us and the show.”

But when the OST kicks in it’s fucking phenomenal, and made better because of how sparse it is. Most games with minimal OST’s are like that.

I get what you mean, but it does give the game a certain, tense atmosphere; which is then juxtaposed against the bombast of the boss battles (which do have memorable music) and the peaceful music of the hub areas.

The thing is that Dark Souls 2 is my secret favorite game in the series because I think it gets basically everything else right. Good bosses, amazing DLC, even more consistent themes.

But yeah, I miss a lot of that interconnectedness. 3 kinda has it? The journey from Road of Sacrifices to Irithyll and up into

Oh what timing. Literally just watched the credits roll on another playthrough.

I actually think RDR2 is going to give us a chance to see the real monster that Marston was in his youth. He was a scumbag who learned to regret his choices and leave them behind him as long as he could. I think if anything, RDR2 might add more depth to Marston’s character and show us why his redemption was so

Ok, I get what you’re saying. But what if Donald Glover plays Lando? ;)

More like code for: “That’s a stupid question.”

I thought the transition to Jack was excellent. Like you said, there was nothing John could do to stop it, which was what the game was all about. And Jack’s killing Ross in revenge was so pitifully easy that it was hard to celebrate. It was just one twitch of the finger that ultimately accomplished nothing. John was

I could understand if the game took place after RDR and they somehow magic’d Marston back to life, because plot convenience. That would obviously cheapen the conclusion of the previous game. But how does telling Marston’s story prior to the events of RDR cheapen it? I don’t see how learning more about him makes his

Nothing’s stopping members of those communities from speaking up if they have a problem with those characters.

Stupid. Phil Lamar a black man has done voices for every color and nationality imaginable. I don’t think actors should be limited to the constraints of only voicing their own race. If you do it for Apu then why not everyone? This is a slippery slope leading to a boring future where actors don’t get to try things or

Wait...dude was on friendly terms with a former GOP President?

Oh, Whataboutism.
